Summer Theatre Intensive
Sign up for ASAP’s Summer Theatre Intensive, led by actress Emily Hubelbank, costume designer Lesley Neilson-Bowman, and visual artist Jon Olivieri! Not only will we put on a full-scale production, but you’ll also take acting, set design and construction, and costume design classes.

About the Class
Help write your own play based on a beloved children’s book. In this workshop students will have the opportunity to write dialogue, explore music, create dances, and design and build sets and costumes. In just eight days we’ll work together to create an entire 30 minute show! Start your summer off with a creative bang!
Grades 6 through 12 (entering in the 2013-14 school year)

About the Class
Acting: Learn about acting technique, character development, and what it takes to be an actor today.
The Play: Rehearse The 39 Steps and perform it on the last day of the workshop.
Costume Design: Learn the process of costume design, and help create costumes for the show.
Set Design & Construction: Help build the set while learning both painting & basic construction skills.

Summer Theatre Intensive Tuition Refund/Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel before April 1, 2013, you will receive full tuition reimbursement.
Cancel between April 1 and April 30, 2013, and you will be reimbursed 75%.
Cancel between May 1 and May 31, 2013, and you will be reimbursed 50%.
We are unable to reimburse tuition for any cancellations received after June 1, 2013.
